Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Manager of Executive Communications to join the Corporate Marketing team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to articulate complex ideas into compelling narratives. This role involves crafting thought-provoking content, including bylines, abstracts for speaking engagements, and engaging social media posts that reflect Extreme’s key messages and thought leadership initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

· Develop high-quality written content, including thought leadership articles, bylines, op-eds, and executive social posts that align with Extreme’s strategic objectives.

· Collaborate with executives and subject matter experts to capture their insights and perspectives, transforming them into compelling narratives for external publication.

· Research industry trends, market insights, and emerging topics to identify thought leadership opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.

Byline Development:

· Craft thought-provoking and original bylines that showcase Extreme’s expertise and thought leadership in key areas.

· Ensure consistency in messaging and tone across all written materials, maintaining the organization's brand voice and identity.

Abstracts for Speaking Opportunities:

· Write concise and compelling abstracts for executive presentations, keynote speeches, and panel discussions at industry conferences, webinars, and events.

· Tailor abstracts to resonate with target audiences and highlight the Extreme’s thought leadership contributions and innovative insights.

Social Media Management:

· Develop engaging and shareable content for various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and industry-specific forums.

· Monitor social media channels for relevant conversations, trends, and opportunities to amplify executive thought leadership and engage with key stakeholders.

· Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to schedule posts, track performance metrics, and refine content strategies for maximum impact.

Collaboration and Coordination:

· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, public relations, and executive leadership, to align content initiatives with broader organizational goals and messaging priorities.

· Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize deadlines, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content that meets or exceeds expectations.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

· Proven experience as a thought leadership writer, journalist, or content creator in a corporate or agency setting.

· Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style.

· Demonstrated ability to translate complex ideas and technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content for diverse audiences.

· Familiarity with SEO best practices, content optimization techniques, and digital publishing platforms.

· Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources to develop original insights and thought leadership content.

· Experience working with senior executives, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders to capture their perspectives and amplify their thought leadership presence.

· Proficiency in social media management tools, content scheduling platforms, and analytics dashboards.

· Excellent organizational skills, time management abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

· A passion for innovation, curiosity, and continuous learning, with a desire to stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in thought leadership and content marketing.
