What's better-- this body of research is not new (yes, this study is). What Alaina does not also mention here is that expressing these things to your fellow human aka having chats with your neighbors can bolster these sentiments as well. People who are lucky enough to have Alaina as a neighbor just get this in spades. Thanks for sharing!

New research backs up what climate optimists already knew: focusing on only the issues when it comes to the climate crisis is not an effective way to get people to take action on it. What works instead is focusing on calls to action and solutions to issues. That isn't to say that the issues should be ignored but rather that discussing them needs to be done in a way that encourages action, not discourages it by making things seem hopeless.#ClimateChange #ClimateCrisis #ClimateOptimismhttps://lnkd.in/e3VNKqTj
